Ellyn K. Ness

      She is an expert in Personnel Recruitment and Selection, Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse, Workplace Violence Issues and Classroom Management. She has 20 years experience as a Police Officer in Illinois and Kansas, Undercover Narcotics Investigator and Law Enforcement Educator and Trainer. She was lead instructor for the Domestic Violence Investigative Course at the Malaysian Police Academy and was most recently Commander of the Basic Police Training Academy at Mesa Community College.

       She has an AS from Triton College, BS in Criminology/Sociology from Northern Illinois University and a MS in Political Science - Public Administration from Fort Hays State University. She is currently a faculty member for Justice Studies program at Mesa Community College and has received outstanding faculty of the year award for the past two years.
